About Ess Oil

Established in 2016, Ess Oil’s mission is to be a pioneer in Rwandan of high quality, pure, natural and organic essential oils.

After 3 years of mastering the cultivation process for a variety of aromatic crops, Ess Oil began to distil their own crops and in 2019 started to export fully certified organic essential oils to the global market.

Ess Oil is a privately-owned local company with its own farms which can be found in the Eastern Region of Rwandan, known as the Kayonza District. The Kayonza District is the agricultural hub of Rwandan, making it a suitable home for the essential oil industry.

To grow as a leader Ess Oil have invested in people with expert agronomists and engineers on board to train the local employees and build a modern distillery. Furthermore Ess Oil have acquired 117 hectares of fertile land to grow the finest quality plant in which to they will produce their essential oils on organic plantations. It is hoped that this will increase to 500 hectares by the end of 2020. Ess Oil also wild harvest local products.
