About Essential Oils of Tasmania

For over 35 years, Essential Oils of Tasmania (EOT) has produced a diverse range of pure essential oils and fine plant extracts for the food, flavour, fragrance and aromatherapy markets across the world.  EOT is located in Tasmania; Australia’s southern island State. Surrounded by the great Southern Ocean and swept by the world’s cleanest air, Tasmania is an island renowned for its unspoilt environment, warm dry summers and cool wet winters making it one of the world’s best regions to grow a range of essential oil crops.

Essential Oils of Tasmania is a fully integrated business, born out of science, that produces and sells the highest quality uniquely Tasmanian, botanical extracts internationally.  From growing crops to processing finished oil, EOT has a range of extraction and fractionation systems to tailor products to customer requirements.  Our growers and field production teams have the experience in developing the agronomic systems required for reliably producing temperate essential oil crops. We have pioneered the commercial production of a number of globally unique Australian native plant extracts, such as Boronia and Tasmanian Native Pepper and revolutionised harvesting methods. Our capability allows us to quickly and successfully bring a trial crop into full-scale production.  Our technical and processing team has great experience in new product innovation and development. We possess the in-house technical expertise, which, combined with strong links with research and agronomy organisations, allows us to take a product idea through to fruition.
